If you?re building a new Atlanta green home, you don?t want to miss the Atlanta Green Building Council panel on April 19. An expert panel of? speakers will give you all the tips and tricks for taking advantage of green building tax credits and financing opportunities.
Expert panelists include Neil Pickard, Energy Efficiency Program Manager at GA Power; Matt Hoots, President of SawHorse and Jayson Payne, President of Structured Energies, LLC. They will speak on topics including current programs provided by GA Power, current tax credits available and the Builder Energy Efficient Mortgage Partner and Program. There?s literally thousands of dollars you could be saving by choosing to build ?green,? so why not take advantage of them!
The panel will be held at Northwest Exterminating (1740 Corn Road, Smyrna 30080) on Thursday, April 19. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., and the program will commence at noon. Cost is $25 for green building council members and $35 for non members. Interested attendees can register online.
The Atlanta Green Building Council is part of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. It is dedicated to joining everyone involved in the green building process from planning to selling. The council provides educational opportunities to its members and the public on green certification programs.
